As we are only open by appointment those visiting us have exclusive access to our working raptors and the beautiful five hundred acres of Welsh countryside where we are based. However, we do open our doors for a few days each year and invite you to come and see these magnificent birds at their home.

If you would prefer to see these magnificent raptors closer to where you live come and see us at one of the many public events we attend each year. If you have an event that you would like us to attend please do not hesitate to contact us for availability and prices.

Youngsters Flying High

Mid Wales Falconry are opening for the first time, to run falconry taster sessions for children aged between 12- 16 yrs. The sessions will be held every Thursday through out August starting from 5th August, 10am-1pm.

Based at Penybryn, Castle Caereinion, youngsters will be able to learn the basic skills of falconry in an informative but fun atmosphere.

The sessions will include basic skills training, an introduction to the local surrounding wildlife, as well as observing the birds working in their natural environment. All levels of experience and capabilities are catered for, £15 per session.
